Interstellar Travel Techniques | What Is Interstellar Travel |
The future of us humans is going to be of Interstellar Travel where we humans will travel to other Star Systems and worlds in search of life and our second home. You may have seen humans and other civilizations traveling at light speed to other Star Systems using Warp Drives and Wormholes in many Science Fiction Movies
But such technology may take hundreds to thousands of years to come into existence. But at present, many such techniques will take us only a few decades and years to develop, with the help of which we can do Interstellar Travel in the future. In such a situation, today we will know about some such methods, with the help of which we can do Interstellar Travel in the future.

Voyager Spacecraft |
Human Object at the farthest distance from Earth. A most distant human object from earth.
In 1977, the 'two most important Space Missions' of human history were launched from our earth, whose purpose was to study the planets in the last left of our solar system and an unseen world for the first time. Today the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 missions have been more than 40 years old.
In such a situation, these missions not only studied the gas giants present in the outer region of our solar system and their moons and took many pictures of them. Along with this, these missions also became the first spacecraft to enter Interstellar Space, which no Man-Made Object could reach to date.

Voyager And Heliosphere |
First of all, in 2012, NASA announced for the first time that Voyager 1 mission has finally entered Interstellar Space by crossing our Sun's Solar Bubble i.e. Heliopause. With which it became the first Man-Made Object to enter Interstellar Space.
While crossing our solar system, its distance from our earth was about 122 AU i.e. about 18 Billion Kilometers. All this was no less than a dream for us humans because, from the beginning of the space age, we started dreaming of traveling to distant stars and alien planets.

Interstellar Travel and Distance from Taro | Interstellar Travel and time
But at present, the biggest problem in interstellar travel is technology and the time taken for such a journey is very high. Proxima Centauri is the closest star system to our solar system, which is present about 4.25 Light Years away from our Earth. In such a situation, the Voyager mission, which is moving at a speed of about 56 thousand kilometers per hour, will take about 70 thousand years to reach this star system.
Similarly, even if we travel to this star system at a speed of 250,000 kilometers per hour, the fastest space mission in human history - the Parker Solar Probe, will take us many thousands of years.
All these calculations are for the Alpha Centauri-Star System, which is closest to our Solar System. The same if we think of traveling to Exoplanets and Star Systems discovered by Planet-Hunting Space Missions like Kepler and Tess, then it will take us many thousands to millions of years.
That is, in simple words, at present, our existing Space and Rocket Technology is not enough for any kind of Interstellar Travel. And at the present time, we cannot even imagine any such interstellar travel in our human lifespan.

Interstellar Travel and Methods? , Interstellar Travel and Techniques?
In such a situation, the question is how we humans can travel far and wide by doing interstellar travel. We get to see the answer to this question to some extent in SciFi Space Movies, where civilizations, using technology like HighlyAdvancede – Warp Drives, Wormhole,s, and Teleportation, travel many light years away to Star systems and Planets.

Spaceship Travelling Through Wormhole |
But at present, we do not have any such technology or standard, using which we humans can build such Highly Advance Systems. In such a situation, leave the imagination of the journey of stars present in other Galaxies many light-years away. But is interstellar travel not possible without technologies like traveling at light speed with the help of Warp Drive and reaching anywhere in the universe with the help of Wormhole?

Some More Ways to Travel Interstellar | Interstellar Travel Techniques
On this, scientists say that even without these technologies, interstellar travel is possible. There are some methods in this Indirect, according to which we should gradually take 'Slow and Indirect Journey' from one Asteroid to another Asteroid, from one Dwarf Planet to another Dwarf Planet. There are also some direct methods according to which we should build such huge Generation Ships where many generations of humans can live and do interstellar travel.
There are also some other direct methods, according to which we can further advance the existing technologies and build such Advance Ships, which will travel directly to distant stars at a high speed. We will discuss all these methods in detail further.
1. Drifting Comets and Asteroids
In October 2017, scientists discovered a very strange space object present in our solar system. The Speed and Trajectory of this Space Object wwerecompletelywere completely different from any Asteroid or Comet seen was seen in our Solar System so far. When it was studied closely, scientists came to know that it is an interstellar object that came from another star system in the distant galaxy to our solar system, which was named Oumuamua.
In InAugust 2019onece again another such Interstellar Objects wasKuiper seen passing through our solar system, which was named 2I / Borisov. In such a situation, scientists believe that every year many such Interstellar Asteroids and Comet enter our solar system. Most of them leave our solar system without being detected.
Along with this, there are many such Dwarf Planets and Asteroids in the last left of our solar system i.e. 'KuiperThe Belt and Oort Cloud' which either revolve around our Sun in a very huge Orbit or Deflect towards another Star System. goes away
In such a situation, if we can somehow capture these Interstellar Asteroids or make some kind of Human Base on them. So we can ride on these Asteroids and travel to their Origin–Star System present in the distant galaxy. But this method will be very slow and indirect because we will not have any idea of the destination of these asteroids and also such a journey will take many thousands to millions of years.

2. Generation Ship
Another concept of interstellar travel is a slow but direct method. We know so far that interstellar space takes a very long time, so it is not possible to cover the journey of a distant star system in a human lifespan. In such a situation, scientists gave the idea of some such spaceships, which would be very huge, and would be the home of hundreds of people for thousands of years of long interstellar travel.\
In this Generation Ship, we will be able to live many generations of humans so that when one generation ends after becoming old, its net generation can continue this journey and carry it forward. This spaceship will be like a home for humans for thousands of years to come, where food, wat,er and oxygen will be available for them.

Starship |
The speed of these spaceships may not be up to Light Speed, but 'Life Support System will be present in it', with the help of which we will be able to produce enough Oxygen and Water for many generations. But to make such a giant spaceship, we will need a lot of resources, as well as given its huge size, we will have to assemble this spaceship in space itself.
3. Nuclear and Hydrogen Propulsion
The third concept of interstellar travel is a high speed and direct way. This is a Realistic and Most Sensational Technology which can be our most successful bet in the journey to other Star Systems and Planets. Unlike technologies like Warp Drives and Wormholes, this is a practical technology that may become a reality in the coming few decades.
The first of these techniques is Nuclear Pulse Propulsion, it is based on Newton's Third Law. Under this technology, the Starship Explodes Nuclear Warheads behind the Concussion Plate present in its rear, as a reaction of which a very fast Great Thrust is generated. With the help of which this starship will get so much thermonuclear force, with the help of which it will be able to travel to the star system present many light-yearswhich away.

Ion Propulsion Engine |
At the same time, some scientists have also given the idea of technology like Bussard Ramjet, which will be a kind of Hydrogen Propulsion. Imagine a spaceship under the Interstellar Ramjet Design, in front of which there will be a huge collector several kilometers, which will collect the hydrogen present in Interstellar Medium.
After which the engine present in the spacecraft will use this 'hydrogen for fusion reaction', as a byproduct of which high intensity propellant will come out from its exhaust nozzle. Which will speed up this spaceship so much that it will be able to travel to any star system in just a few years.
Only the future will tell which of these technologies will we humans use for interstellar travel. In such a situation, according to you, which of these technologies can help us humans in the future journey to another star system, definitely tell us by commenting below.
